This policy applies to consumer purchases made from Barrel & Bloom at barrelandbloom.uk. The store is operated by Barrel & Bloom Ltd.
Your right to cancel
If you are a consumer, you may cancel an eligible online order without giving a reason. You must tell us within 14 days after the day you, or someone you nominate, receives the goods.
To cancel, email hello@barrelandbloom.uk with your name, order number and a clear statement that you wish to cancel. You may use the model cancellation form at the end of this policy, but you do not have to.
If your order has already been dispatched, you must return eligible goods within 14 days after telling us you wish to cancel. Please contact us before returning anything so that we can provide the correct return instructions. Unless the goods are faulty, damaged or not as described, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning them.
Food and sealed goods
For change-of-mind cancellations, please keep coffee and other food products unopened, unused and in their original sealed packaging. Statutory exceptions to cancellation can apply to certain goods, including goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly and sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health-protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed, where the relevant legal conditions are met.
These exceptions do not affect your rights if goods are faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise fail to meet your statutory rights.
Faulty, damaged, incorrect or missing goods
It is our responsibility to supply goods that meet your consumer rights. If an item arrives damaged, is incorrect, is faulty, is not as described or does not arrive, contact us as soon as reasonably possible at hello@barrelandbloom.uk. Please include your order number and, where reasonably possible, photographs of damage or packing so that we can investigate quickly.
Depending on the circumstances and your legal rights, we will offer the appropriate remedy, which may include repair, replacement, a price reduction or refund. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable consumer law.
Refunds
For a valid change-of-mind cancellation, we will refund the price paid for eligible returned goods and the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option where the law requires this. Any extra amount paid for premium or expedited delivery does not have to be refunded where the law permits.
We may reduce a refund to reflect any loss in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature and characteristics of the goods. We may withhold the refund until we receive the goods back or you provide evidence that you have returned them, whichever occurs first.
Refunds will be made to the original payment method without undue delay and within the period required by law. For returned goods, this is generally no later than 14 days after we receive the goods back or, if earlier, after you provide evidence that you sent them back.
Order changes and cancellations before dispatch
Contact us promptly if you need to change or cancel an order. We will try to help, but we cannot guarantee a change or cancellation after fulfilment has begun. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
